Site Inspection & Measurement

MEASURE & MEASURE AGAIN
While most modular kitchen and custom furniture designers will do an on-site measurement of your site at some point, it will be useful to have rough dimensions and images available for the initial meetings. This will help in determining the overall scope of the project and also enable a productive meeting with the kitchen showroom designer.
Usually the kitchen design discussions start much before your site will be ready. Hence the site measurements at this stage will not be accurate. For accurate site measurements the wall plaster finishing and flooring must be completed.
Usually your home layout from your builder is adequate to prepare the initial designs and budgetary quotation.
Once your designs are frozen, the designer will take accurate site measurements and make modifications to fit the site measurements.
Also the designer will provide details of electrical, plumbing and civil changes required at your site, as per the finalized design. These changes need to be completed before the modular kitchen and other custom designed furniture is brought to the site for installation.
